Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation

I bought this after trying the Dream Matte Mousse Foundation. I loved how it looked on other people, but when I tried it, all it did was sink into my pores and cling to my dry skin! So I thought a more liquid version, might be the best thing ever!

I got this in the shade Ivory. There’s a fair few shade choices, but it can feel quite limited. Some days I wear this and think ‘omg this is perf!’ And then other days I think, ‘do I look orange?’ It costs £7.99, so it’s not the end of the world if it’s a touch off. I’d just mix it with another foundation to even it out!

I use approximately two pumps for my whole face, that is like full coverage. You can build this up to however you like. I can’t decide either if this has a matte or dewy finish. It’s kind of in the middle, it’s dewy where it needs to be in my opinion! Perfect!

I apply it with a beauty blender, and it just has a lush application! For a drug store foundation, I’d compare this to my MAC pro long wear! Obviously, between the two, I’d still always pick MAC. I find if I wear Dream Satin for too many days in a row I get a massive breakout!! The only downside to be honest!

If you’re looking for a change of foundation, or just been wanting to try this out, I’d say go for it! Especially for £7.99! I wouldn’t recommend this for oily skin, I think it would just slide off your skin within a couple hours! Let me know your thoughts guys!
