Guest Post from Glow with Erin – Top 5 Products for Dry Skin

I wanted to do something different for y’all for a little while now. I have oily/combination skin, so I wanted someone from a dry skin type point of view for all you fellow dry skin people! I hope you enjoy this post from Erin Downie – she has very kindly put together this post & provided me with photos too of each item! You can find her website (don’t forget to subscribe for updates!) here & don’t forget to check out her Instagram & show her some love here! Over to Erin…

My name is Erin and I am approaching 26 very soon here! I started my skincare journey about 3 years ago now when I decided I was truly fed up with nothing fixing my severe acne. I have battled with it since I was 13! I began researching like crazy and decided to just take the simple route and try skincare. This is where the real obsession was born. In my journey I have gotten all the way from severe cystic acne to my dry, slightly dehydrated full of acne scars skin that I love! My main goal right now is clearing up these red marks and keeping my skin as hydrated as possible to avoid those breakouts again. Not too long after I seriously cleared up my skin, I started my Instagram @glowwitherin, where I share my passion for skincare and beauty. It’s been a fun journey of learning photography, trying out hundreds of products and meeting some fabulous people!

Osea Malibu – Sea Vitamin Boost

This mist has been a game changer. I have never experienced a mist that packs such a hydration punch. It instantly makes the skin feel plumped and comfortable and after just a week of using it, I noticed that my skin was incredibly soft! This mist is packed with antioxidants, seaweed, resveratrol and pomegranate. These ingredients aim to anti age and seriously protect the skin from the environment.

HoliFrog – Tashmoo Water Lily Nourishing Milky Wash

This is the perfect face wash for dry skin. It’s magic how it cleanses the skin thoroughly while leaving it feeling softer and more nourished than before. It’s a very milky, creamy face wash that contains no bad ingredients yet is full of all the soothing ingredients you need! Also, isn’t it just adorable?

Fresh Beauty – Rose & Hyaluronic Acid Deep Hydration Toner

This toner is down right beautiful. It has rose water, rose oil, rose extract and actual rose petals! So it smells beautiful! Because of the soothing hydrating properties rose has, plus the phenomenal ingredient hyaluronic acid, this is the skin softener/hydrator I cannot live without! It balances PH after washing, soothes away redness and pushes so much hydration into the skin. I like to just pour some in my hands and pat it in.

Kate Somerville – DeliKate Recovery Cream

Dry skin is prone to having a damaged barrier and I have definitely been there. This cream is a barrier repair kind of cream. It’s very basic, thick but applies thinly, and immediately erases redness, irritation and any tightness. It’s perfect for retinol users or those who may have just done a peel as well as for those repairing their dry skin!

Allies of Skin – Triple Hyaluronic Antioxidant Hydration Serum

This serum is a huge love of mine. It’s a thicker serum that feels like melted honey on the skin and it very very quickly plumps up the skin, makes it soft and nourished. It’s like hydration and moisture in one product! It works to strengthen the skin, deeply hydrate and protect it and it’s highly anti inflammatory. People with dry skin or dehydrated skin need this product because it won’t dry you out like some hyaluronic acid products can and it provides so much more than just hydration.
