Fresh Beauty Sugar Strawberry Exfoliator

I picked this up from Cult Beauty around 3 months ago now. I never normally go for a physical exfoliator, I normally prefer chemical exfoliators like glycolic acid etc. This looked to die for though, so I had to try it!

It’s only £12 for 50ml, which I thought was great for Fresh Beauty! This scrub is sulphate & paraben free & contains strawberry & blackcurrant extracts. It also has grape seed oil for extra hydration. The exfoliating part of it is sugar granules!

This is what it looks like, I wish you could smell it, it’s to die for. It’s quite a stretchy texture to it too.

You are supposed to apply this to damp, freshly cleansed skin and massage in until the sugar granules dissolve. What I love about this is that you can control the level of exfoliation. If you have ultra sensitive skin, add more water, if you want a harsher scrub, use less water! I think that’s pretty cool!

It’s not just the scent I love – I actually love how this makes my skin feel! Especially when I’m taking a break from chemical exfoliating products. I love using this when I have no makeup days. I’ll cleanse my skin with a water based cleanser, then I’ll go in with this. I only use it once or maybe twice per week, but it’s enough to feel a difference!

My skin feels silky smooth after using this, especially around the bridge of my nose where I might get build up. It does soothe my redness too & I always find my serums & moisturisers always sink in amazingly on evenings that I use this!

I will definitely repurchase this, if only to use once per week – it’s a little treat for my skin & stops any dead skin cell build up too!
